what he is saying is that a dream is getting him nowhere, if he has a plan and knows what he is going to do then that is where the results follow. a dream is something u want to happen, a plan is something u are going to make happem.
That's soooper. My guess is this quote is a little comical but serious as well, containing a deeper point behind the humor. I believe he is a "can and will do man," versus "i think we can do," man!
that martin luther had a dream and this guy had a plan to do something. the dream doesn't become reality if you don't make it. but a plan can be put into action faster than a dream can.
It's all well and good to have a dream, as long as you have a plan to make that dream become a reality. That's what he's saying, he isn't just a dreamer, he's actually putting his plan into action. He's all about following through.
i think having a dream is not enough action. you have to take action in your dream to make them come true. you need a plan.
THIS QUOTE GETS PEOPLE'S ATTENTION, BUT THINK ABOUT IT A PLAN IS ABOUT THE SAME THING, A DREAM COULD HAPPEN JUST AS MUCH AS A PLAN. IT IS UP TO THE PERSON. A PLAN IS NOT SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE HAPPEN, ONLY IF YOU WORK ON IT.
THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DREAM AND A PLAN. A PLAN IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE SET OUT TO DO RIGHT AWAY, AND A DREAM IS SOMETHING THAT IS SOUGHT OUT TO BE A PLAN.

you don't have a dream but a dream is kinda a plan on what you want to change.
He is going to take the clay of daily life and shape it himself, rather than hope the people are up to the task.
Ipersonally do not like this quote but I feel that no one can truly live up to such a great person. I have a plan and i will follow through with it
