my interpretation of Ali's quote is "I don't give a damn what u think about me and who you think i am, i think good about me and i know who i am." i share this philosophy because i feel "if u don't like me too bad, i like me."

i think ali was once forced to be something he didn't want to be. this is a statement everyone should go by. i know no one can force me to be something i'm not.
that you should have the attitude that you know what you are doing and you don't care about what people think about you. if you give in to what people are saying then you are what they want you to be. if you think that you are good then believe it and stay with it.
Dude, this Muhamid guy could be a punk singer or something because he's got it exactly right. You don't need anything else, all you need is to believe, especially if that's all you have.
HE HIS SAYING THAT NO MATTER WHAT HE LIKES WHO HE IS, AND WOULD NOT GIVE ANY ONE THE BENEFIT OF DOUBT TO CHANGE HIM. BEING "YOU" GETS "YOU" WHERE "YOU" WANT TO BE.
This quote explains life in a couple of words. In a sense I know where I want to head and that is the truth, but sometimes where people want me to go seems to be where I end up going forgetting that it's my life.

No one wants to spend their lives trying to make everyone else happy. You are who you are, and don't need to change if you're happy. I feel this way alot...people are always trying to put me into a category or tell me what I should do and who I should be. I am who I am...if you don't like it that's too bad, there are plenty of people who do.
I wasn't put here to impress anyone, or to make anyone happy, but to live my life. MY life, not his life or her life, but a life I can build as an individual, a life as distinct and unique as a snowflake on bare asphault, and I am happy if no one likes me, because it means that I succeeded.
i think that this quote is ture.. but at the same time alot of youth are not able to be free fro the reason that they dont have eduation. and i think that thats where the amercian world is slacking.
